⭐ The Little Blessing House(Where small wonders are made)Oh, you found it.
This is the Little Blessing House on the Rowanthwaite lane.Do come closer.
The windows are a little misted because we have been busy inside.
There are boxes everywhere at the moment,
brown paper parcels, ribbons, jars of tea,
and a few candles that seem far too eager to be lit.Nothing is quite on the shelves yet.
We are still arranging,
smoothing tablecloths,
and deciding which corner is best for the sacred objects
and which nook belongs to the teas and blessings. Some say the Blessing House has a mind of its own.
Things disappear, things reappear,
and every now and then a little shimmer runs across the counter
as if something is very pleased to be arriving soon.In time, this House will hold:• tiny blessings
• cottage candles
• sacred objects
• jars of tea
• simple practices
• little gifts for the heart
• and whatever else wanders in from the lane
and decides to stayFor now, the lantern is lit,
the room smells faintly of honey and rose petals,
and everything is waiting to be unpacked. If you would like to know when the first treasures are ready,
leave your name in the little book on the side table. The Blessing House will remember you.
⭐ The Brown Paper Parcel(Sitting quietly on the counter)If you look closely,
you will notice a small brown paper parcel on the counter.
It arrived this morning without a sound.
No name, no note, no explanation…
just tied with string and carrying the faintest scent of rose and warm bread.Mr Wise Owl says it is the first blessing of the House,
although he refuses to say how he knows this. The faeries keep circling it,
whispering that whatever is inside
is meant for someone who will arrive at just the right moment.Dearest, when the Blessing House is ready,
and all the shelves are set out properly,
we shall open it together.Until then, it sits here quietly,
patient and perfectly content,
waiting for its time.
⭐ Our Shop Bell
(Hanging above the Blessing House door)Dearest, you may hear it before you see it.
A little brass bell swinging above the old wooden door,
polished by time and good company. The interesting thing is, it never rings at the wrong moment.
Only when someone is meant to step inside.
Sometimes it gives one clear chime,
sometimes two,
and every now and then a soft little trill
as if it has recognised a friend.Mr Wise Owl says the bell can tell
when a heart is ready for a blessing.
The faeries insist it rings when a new treasure arrives.
Both are probably right. When the Blessing House finally opens
and the shelves are full,
the bell will be the first to greet you.
A small, bright sound
to say you are welcome
and the House is glad you have come.
